Welcome back, reader! It's time to dive into the month of February. A quick note before we start: Since a couple of January's homeschool happenings were repeat events, you may see some familiar places & events in this post. I will do my best to find new events for each month, but please understand that new events are not always available. My hope is that my readers will begin joining the conversation and sharing their own homeschool happenings in the comments section, thus broadening the scope of available homeschool activities. All right, let's get started!

Feb. 2nd-3rd: Snowshoe Rentals @Sandy Ridge Reservation [6195 Otten Rd. North Ridgeville] - time: 11 AM-3 PM - ages: all ages welcome - 4 in. of snow minimum {recurring event} note: The link for this event is to Northeast Ohio Parent's website. I couldn't find a link to the event on the Lorain County Metroparks website.

Feb. 3rd: Storytime with Letter Girl @Cuyahoga Falls Library [2015 Third St. Cuyahoga Falls, OH] in the Graefe Room - time: 6-7 PM - ages: students in kindergarten to 2nd grade - free event - {recurring event: Feb. 17th + 24th}

Feb. 4th: Music & Movement @Brook Park Branch Library [6155 Engle Rd. Brook Park, OH] - time: 10-10:30 AM - ages: toddlers + preschoolers (2-5 years) w/ a caregiver - free event

Feb. 15th: Fairmount Open Studios: Valentine's Day Party @Fairmount Center for the Arts [8400 Fairmount Rd. Novelty, OH] - time: 3-5 PM (doors open at 2:45 PM) - ages: all ages welcome - free event

Feb. 19th: Seed Starting @Cuyahoga Falls Library [2015 Third St. Cuyahoga Falls, OH] in the Sutliff Room - time: 6-7 PM - ages: all ages welcome - free event

Feb. 20th: Homeschool Field Trip Day: Black History Month @Cleveland History Center [10825 East Blvd. Cleveland, OH] - time: 10 AM-noon - ages: 3-18 - price: $8 per student; parents + siblings/kids ages 0-2 are free - parking: $8 per car

Feb. 26th: Teen Chess Club @Cuyahoga Falls Library [2015 Third St. Cuyahoga Falls, OH] - time: 3:30-4:30 PM - ages: students in their teens - free event
